Agreed re: the header being unwarranted. Why say there's "trouble" at a show only to praise it as "better than EVER!"
I did see the new cast over the weekend and absolutely adored Bernadette Peters as Dolly. It sits very nicely in her singing range and she manages to mine both comedy and beautiful vulnerability. This performance will only deepen with time. I'm very excited to see her grow in the role. |
