| I find it silly and an insult to the scores that are actually original and not coasting on the hit and known songs from the movie it's based on. To pretend we don't all know that what was good about the Newsies score was almost exclusively the "50%" of the score that was written for the movie is hilarious. Either do away with the rule that half or more much be written for the stage and just make it ok if the songs were written for that *property* even if it was original for the movie version OR maybe it at least 60%. |
