While I don't agree with much in the post to which you responded (except that the subject is complicated), I hardly think we want to look at Israel as a model for this. And your comments about boards and donors seems to miss the point: it is that very dynamic that some are criticizing. (And again, I am not agreeing with that sentiment.)
