| It was and won for the Globes--which was my point. Perhaps their rules were/are different or just enforced sloppily (or whoever was overseeing them didn't realize that this was not a song written originally for the film). It was not for the Oscars--had it been, I'm sure it would have been removed. Otherwise, we would have a history of "Climb Every Mountain," "Tonight," and "Luck Be a Lady" having been nominees, which seems to miss the point. I get what the other poster is saying--I just don't agree at all. |
