I had the same thought, but was told "that's a stretch." If you grew up with "The Tingler," as I did (on TV), you'd know it isn't a stretch at all. The great Judith Evelyn, who famously played Blanche*, was the heroine who lived over the movie theater in "Tingler." She was also prominent in "Rear Window."
