On this specific point we agree completely, even if not 100 percent on the other stuff.

So, just for the record: If a film version of FOLLIES is released five years from now (or whenever), you would have no problem with "Too Many Mornings" or "Beautiful Girls" or "I'm Still Here" or any of the other songs receiving a Best Song Oscar nomination, even though those songs are now almost half a century old?
