| I think if you want a genuine Hispanic take on this story, you're going to have to start from scratch - not with a reinterpretation of a Broadway musical devised by four New York Jews. As for Spielberg and Kushner - and I'm not a big fan of the latter - as a lover of musicals, I'm always pleased when a mainstream artist from outside the musical theater world becomes involved with the genre. |
