| For what it's worth, Russ Tamblyn had little or no dance training or experience when he was cast in the original film of WEST SIDE STORY -- and, prior to that, in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS. His main experience was as an acrobat and gymnast. And, incredible as this may sound, I believe Debbie Reynolds had little or no dance training at the time she was cast in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. |
