I am not questing Spielberg making the movie, I'm questing him hiring Kushner as the writer. And yes, he HIRED him as far as I understand. Unless you see it written about otherwise, it is much safer to assume that Spielberg got the rights, not him and Kushner together, and that he hired Kushner rather than the two equally being partners on the project. Also unless he is producing it or his company is, which they may be, he personally is actually not the guy hiring it is the company or studio, etc. As I'm sure you know, being an industry professional.
It's also bonkers to believe that no movies he's ever wanted to make has gone unmade only because he decided not to do it. There are other factors at play, which I have to assume you understand.
And if you think that objecting to you saying "a Latin" is ultra politically correct liberalism you're really out of touch. |
