It was a concert with wonderful stories prompted by questions from Seth. Songs today included i'm in love with a Wonderful Guy, cockeyed optimist, a song from bridges of Madison county, two from King and I, (Hello young lovers, Getting to know you), Small talk from pajama game and "they dont let you in the opera if your a country star". She finished with "i could have danced all night". We learned how to wash hair on stage and how to walk with a 37 pound King and I dress.
Besides being in amazing voice, she seemed as genuine and authentic as ever as she talked about her career as Seth asked about one show after another. She also talked about motherhood and being a parent with a broadway career. just a wonderful 100 minutes. |
