| I was charmed by this smart and witty play and how it skillfully addresses questions of identity, authenticity and representation. Fine acting across the board and a very handsome physical production. Bravo to TRT for their commitment to new works and to works by playwrights of color. Many subscription-based regional theaters would shy away from producing this kind of play because they don't think it will appeal to their largely older, largely white audiences. |
