| Equally deserving with Cooke is Sam Mendes for his brilliant direction on "The Ferryman". It's a great production of an exciting play. With Ivo there was a lot of razzle-dazzle but not as much depth in the direction. Most innovative aspect, along with the video, was the creation of the dining area, where dinner is served to patrons, i.e. lucky members of the audience who buy those sets. Wonder if they will keep that element in New York...it helps make the production. |
