I wonder if Ebersole or Prince show up on TV enough to spark interest in non-regular theatregoers around the country? Ebersole has certainly had the bigger career in New York lately, but I'm not sure that even matters on the road.
Ebersole currently recurs on MADAM SECRETARY as the First Lady and has TV credits going back to her season on SNL many moons ago. I'm not sure if Prince has a current TV gig, but she shows up enough that she might be one of those "Hey, It's That Guy" kind of actors that people recognize, but can't put a name to the face.
Either lady would certainly be terrific in the role. |
