| It just struck me as worth commenting on since Ebersole is popular with some far left groups and McEntire has a lot of appeal for (like you said) red state audiences. That is an extremely wide spectrum that 2 female actors who will be playing the same role, one after the other, are covering. It sort of reminds me of Katharine Hepburn and Adolphe Menjou appearing in (and sharing a lot of scenes) in films like Stage Door and State of the Union. I wonder if Kate and Menjou talked politics when they went to lunch. |
