I saw two of the Billy Elliots and did not think they were giving the same quality performances. Besides, I can't see giving an award to someone averaging less than 3 performances a week. And why did the 2-performance-a-week Matildas deserve a special citation when the leads in Annie and A Christmas Story that same season were at least just as good and played full schedules?
