Waited on line this morning at South Street Seaport.
Asked for two for The Band's Visit. Tried to pay with a TKTS gift certificate and credit card.
If you have a gift certificate, any balance owed on top of that now must be in cash ("because people complained they got gypped").
Makes no sense to me, since any credit card transaction leaves a clear paper trail.
So had to run to an ATM and wait on the line twice.
