It's been a few years since I used the STAR system (aka Telecharge/Shubert Ticketing) but it wasn't exactly up-to-date then. You could do mixed payments for multiple tickets (2 tickets paid on credit card A, 1 ticket paid on credit card B) but a single ticket would have to be paid only with one credit card OR entirely in cash. And a gift certificate would count as cash. I wouldn't be surprised if that's still the same.
Ticketmaster, however, was equipped for mixed payments. I suspect if allineedisthegir were buying a ticket to, say, Kinky Boots, it wouldn't have been a problem. |
