Last month, someone started a thread at BroadwayWorld.com asking if ''Broadway: The Golden Age 2'' was ever gonna happen.
Some folks were angry and frustrated; they had contributed to Rick's Kickstarter campaign and gotten no new updates.
One person quoted what Rick said in his 2013 Kickstarter pitch: ''On this new film 95% of the shooting is already wrapped and 85% of the edit is finished, so we will be ready to go into post-production soon and are already negotiating the licensing fees for the music and footage rights. So, we should be in movie theaters in the fall of 2013 and on DVD for Christmas 2013, with TV for early 2014.''
That's 5 years ago. I hope the financing can be found to complete it, so everyone can enjoy the legacy of Rick's wonderful work. |
