I have to agree. This isn't assault or abusive and consistent abuse of power, and dare I venture a guess that it did not actually impede the performer's ability to do their job... if it made them feel unsafe, i understand the issue but I think it's a bit much given what was supposedly said. Not to mention that this is an older man who lived through all the other generations where a comment like that wouldn't even get a batted eye. I'm not saying it's right but I think a learning curve is needed depending on the incident and the offense, and if what is described here is what happened I certainly don't think he should be fired over it. Especially mid-production.
