| This was the first Broadway show I saw twice. I loved the production. I understood the controversy surrounding it at the time but still found it thrilling, moving and important. The Mufti production is lovely and very well cast. I'm not fond of the "revisal" and feel they discarded some very good songs for some not very good ones. But there is much here to enjoy and Stephanie Umoh is terrific as is Vivian Reed. I'm surprised there have been no postings regarding this. |
