Since when do nominators consider the ''psychological ramifications on young psyches''?
As I pointed out in another posting, the role of Michael, Billy's best friend, was double-cast in ''Billy Elliot.''
But the Tonys nominated only David Bologna, who played Michael. It was so unfair to the other boy (Frank Dolce).
The ''Billy'' boys should've been treated like the ''Matilda'' girls: with a Tony honor, but not a nomination. |
