Feinstein's 54 Below presented A MEMPHIS Reunion at the club last night. I was concerned because of the Super Bowl at the same time they would hurting for an audience. That was not the case.
It was packed to the rafters both shows. It was the most amazing time I have had there, between the cast on stage and the audience rocking dancing etc. How I loved Memphis on Broadway, being there
the day after winning the Tony, when they filmed the show, when Chad left and the closing performance this was such a gift.
From the original cast recreating their roles were Chad Kimball, J. Bernard Calloway and Cass Morgan. Felicia Boswell who was Felicia on the road did the show sometimes in New York was also there.
The cast rich and fantastic. You would have thought you were at a revival or a performance of HAMILTON. Anyone else there? |
