I agree that the concept for the show and how/why it's written is genius. But the storytelling after that, by and large, isn't especially original (outside of some moments), and that the emotional highs of the show are gained through pretty traditional methods, through build and momentum, or through recognizably emotional moments in recognizable relatable relationships. I also happen to think the choreography was over done and took away from the show a bit. There's nothing about the staging of Caroline that I didn't think was perfect.
And yes of course we agree on your last point! :) |
