| It is a fun, interesting read though it offers scant, if any, new information not been documented elsewhere.. I wonder if the book itself is more in-depth and with information not previously published. If not, I further wonder why Vanity Fair chooses to publish this excerpt. i suppose the article might reach an audience different and expanded from the previously published accounts. | |

| I would think the majority of readers have not read or heard the previously documented information and stories about the show, I'm very happy to see them printing a story about it even if it's nothing new. | |

| Yeah, I agree. I, also, was under the misconception from reading the article that his new book was only about South Pacific. It is not. It is entitled "Something Wonderful: Rodgers and Hammerstein's Broadway Revolution". | |
