I remember seeing that as a kid and I thought it was just the funniest play ever. Mahoney, Kurtz, Stockard Channing, Julie Hagerty, Ben Stiller were all just perfect. For some reason the TV version doesn't really capture it all (I remember being hysterical at the nuns running up and down the aisles of Lincoln Center. Baranski didn't really replace Channing effectively and the revival.........well Edie Falco was good and that was about it.

He seemed like a nice man and yes Moonstruck was a great performance. I've heard people just rave about that production of Orphans he was in also.
