My first exposure to South Pacific was at a small town community theater. There was very little Asian population there (like one kid in my high school.)
Anyway they just took white kids and spray tanned them. I never got the whole prejudice aspect of it. I remember when Nellie first meets his kids and is horrified I didn't get it. I was like they are just a little tan. What is the problem? |
