Not to mention those ridiculous wide shot camera angles whoever directs the Tonys for television insists on using for solo performances. Why the director always feels the need to show us the bird's eye view AT ALL, let alone right as the singer reaches a climax in the song so we have no hope of seeing her face or expression, I will never know.
