He has more than a terrific voice, one of the best male voices ever on Broadway. But I agree, I would drive there to see him sing, not act.

Saw him in "Robber Bridegroom" and was disappointed after all the hype about his singing voice. James Barbour and Brian Stokes Mitchell much better.
