Significantly older than DHP, yes (20 years), and 15 years older than Grammer. I think Mahoney read older on Frasier--not so much onstage or in real life. He and Grammer could have played contemporaries believably from a Broadway stage. Hyde Pierce would have been a stretch, but he is such a good actor, I bet he could have done it.

I saw the original cast, and Molina felt definitely younger than the other two, but it didn't create any problems for me. I'm not a fan of the play much anyway.
