Well, code came, did the dance, logged on, danced around a few dates and finally found one where I can see the show on the same day without breaking the bank and getting a good seat.

Two things if you're doing this or trying to do this in the future.

1. You're better off to say "sorry, guys" and just go at it alone and search for single tickets. BTW, if you entered into buying 2 tickets and you received an access code, once you go to "1" and move forward with it, you aren't going back to get another seat on another day for a friend.

2. Once you hit "search" for your tickets, you're pretty much off and waiting on the Ticketmaster site. Your ticket selection will take anywhere from 4-10 minutes to pop up (roughly) ... and while it's tempting, don't go too far away from that search window, once those tickets pop up you have about 6 minutes to accept the purchase and make it a go, or those tickets are gone. That clock doesn't wait on you.
