I remember reading the book when it came out and absolutely loved it. It was funny, sad, inspiring, heartbreaking...everything.
There were some true laugh out loud stories in there.
I think one of my favorites was for the wrap party for Bye Bye Birdie. She talks about the party and how all the men are swarming around Ann-Margret and Maureen walks over, grabs her by the arm and says "Why don't you come with me dear? Apparently I'm the only one here not trying to f*** you!" and got her away from them all. |
