Amy & the Orphans is one of those plays with two interrelated narratives going -- one involves Amy's parents 40 years ago and one now with her siblings (well played, especially Debra Monk). The Parent's story should be thrown out -- it's uninteresting and poorly acted. The modern story is good, especially in the second act -- quite moving.
