| Not very good -- confusing -- a story about two brothers involved in the founding of Israel. When we left -- after some googling -- we confirmed that the brothers in the story were cousins to my son-in-law's grandfather. The older, Moishe Sharett, will become the 2nd Prime Minister of Israel. Historically interesting, mainly because Ben Gurion retired, Moishe succeeded him, and was forced out and replaced by Ben Gurion (I think I have this story straight) -- still I really can't recommend this, except to my daughter's in-laws. I went because of my love of classical music, but Heifetz is almost tangential to the story -- the mugging violinist in the cast does not play any known music, but is used for background sound tracking. |
