Jerry Herman has said ''Mack & Mabel'' is his favorite score, so it must've broke his heart when it wasn't even Tony-nominated.
But I'm baffled that ''Hey, Look Me Over!'' could do a segment on ''Mack & Mabel'' without its best-known song, ''I Won't Send Roses.''
They could do 4 songs from ''Greenwillow'' and 3 from ''All-American'' and ''Milk & Honey,'' but only 2 tunes from ''Mack & Mabel''? :( |
