| Surprised the first week didn't get any comments. It's quite a stunning evening, and I really like the pairing of these two one-acts, which dovetail nicely (be an animal, you're an animal). I had never seen any of either, though I've read about them. The cast is perfect (Robert Sean Leonard, Kate Fineran, Paul Sparks). If you thought casting Paul Sparks as Jerry was a no-brainer, yes, he is incredible. It's a tornado of a performance. And I don't know if I've ever seen someone depict a snarling dog on stage, but his is almost lifelike. And what a deal it is for $30. |

| I saw it a week ago, and hope to see it again before it closes. Sparks is indeed virtuosic, though I felt The Zoo Story could have been probed more deeply. Again, this was only a few days into their performances, and I would like to see how their work develops. Homelife, which I had not seen or read before, was excellent. Interestingly, I could see it either preceding or succeeding The Zoo Story, though Albee clearly intended it to be the opener. |

| I would like to see this but I saw this same double bill done extremely well by Bill Pullman and Johanna Day a few years ago. | |
