Surprised the first week didn't get any comments.
It's quite a stunning evening, and I really like the pairing of these two one-acts, which dovetail nicely (be an animal, you're an animal). I had never seen any of either, though I've read about them.
The cast is perfect (Robert Sean Leonard, Kate Fineran, Paul Sparks). If you thought casting Paul Sparks as Jerry was a no-brainer, yes, he is incredible. It's a tornado of a performance. And I don't know if I've ever seen someone depict a snarling dog on stage, but his is almost lifelike.
And what a deal it is for $30. |
