He WAS wrong. IMHO. Too chipper, wise-cracky, no hint of the Jewishness you mention that McArdle also doesn't "have". Yes....wrong for Roy Cohn. Jonathan Hadary was the best - always IMHO.
And I don't think Louis has to have the map of the ghetto written all over his face. McArdle captures the tortured, over-thinking Louis perfectly. I for one was happy he didn't do stereotypical "Jewish" acting. Whatever that really is. (Fire away!) |
