| Anyone else disappointed there has been no report that this tradition and honor will be given her? For me she was the quintessential New York theatre actress, playing in every size house all across this city and being astonishing in every role she took on. And to boot, she was a wonderfully down to earth human soul, someone who had no qualms engaging you in a heartfelt discussion about a play while the two of you pawwed through cucumbers at Food Emporium. What a treasure the professional theatre and New York City has lost. |
