Thank you for your insight. I now know a great deal about a wonky table. And of course the novel idea that an award for one performance should be judged by an actors performance in another completely different show. That will certainly add a whole new dimension to the prize giving season.
A point about the men in drag - in British music hall tradition female impersonation (and vice versa) was a pretty common occurrence so perhaps a nod to that? |
