| THE GREEN ROOM 42 PRESENTS BROADWAY & YOUTUBE STAR NATALIE WEISS FROM “DEAR EVAN HANSEN” AND “THE GREATEST SHOWMAN” HER NEW EVENING DEBUTS IN NEW YORK BEFORE SHOWS IN LONDON AND HAMBURG FRIDAY, APRIL 6 THE GREEN ROOM 42 – Broadway’s newest intimate concert venue – will present the debut of YouTube singing sensation and Broadway performer, Natalie Weiss, in her new show “Downstage. Left of Center” on Friday, April 6 at 9:30 PM. Weiss was recently featured in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen and Golden Globe-winning, Billboard chart-topping, Oscar-nominated The Greatest Showman. A year and half since her last NYC solo show, she’s back by popular indifference! If you enjoy powerhouse vocals, witty banter, fairly great riffing, and dried pineapple rings...have we got a show for you. Barnum, with original music by Pasek and Paul. She can also be heard in the ensemble on the Original Broadway Cast recording of Dear Evan Hansen. Last summer, she played Candy in the U.S. premiere of the new version of Saturday Night Fever at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. In August 2013, she completed a two and a half year run swinging the national tour of Les Miserables. Back In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the Second national tour of Wicked. Natalie was an “American Idol” Season 4 semi-finalist, has performed the National Anthem at Cowboys and Shea Stadium, has toured internationally teaching and doing solo concerts, She is most well known for her YouTube videos, having gained an international following from her performance videos and popular web series, “Breaking Down The Riffs” — available HERE — which have collectively reached over three million views. | I had to look this up. So Weiss is one of the 16 pre-recorded Virtual Community Voices in ''Dear Evan Hansen.'' And I can't find her name in the IMDB cast list for ''Greatest Showman'' (even among Uncredited). Was she was a background vocalist? |
