Haven't seen this ''My Fair Lady,'' but I agree 100%: ''Andrew Rannells should have been awarded the 2011 Tony for Best Actor in a Musical.''
I've seen ''The Book of Mormon'' many times now, but Rannells was something special. His ''I Believe'' was so comical, and he sounded spectacular.
Butz was entertaining in ''Catch Me If You Can,'' but Hanratty really is a Featured role, and should've been ruled as one by the Tony committee.
To me, Aaron Tveit deserved that Best Actor nomination; ''Catch Me'' is all about Frank's dramatic arc, and his ''Goodbye'' gave me goosebumps. |
