I imagine many people will tune in for the bigger names: John Legend as Jesus, Sara Bareilles as Mary and Alice Cooper as King Herod.
But I'm actually more excited that ''Jesus'' will provide a showcase for Broadway regulars, like Brandon Victor Dixon as Judas; Norm Lewis as Caiphas, and Jason Tam as Peter. Plus, Tony nominee Ben Daniels plays Pontius Pilate, and Jin Ha (a Broadway debut in ''M. Butterfly'') is Annas. |
