| I'm greatly enjoying it, but then I'm a big fan of mr Morddens books. I'll be interested to see next week if the new BIO of R&H is as good as Mr Mordden's bg coffee table sized book. In this month's Commentary magazine, Terry Teachout gives it and the musical a good review... I was happy to see that the cover photo isn't a movie tie in, but a nice sharp photo of Chita Rivera and the six merry murderesses of the Cook County Jail. Depending on your cash flow, pick up a copy or ask your local library to get a copy. Dang, but I love that show, having seen various productions seven times, the most recent being last May at the Ambassador.I don't count the film, that being a case where I did not agree with the Academy's verdict |
