SpongeBob won't. I'm a little surprised Bronx tale isn't doing better. It Is having good run on Broadway and the tour will probably do well in subscription houses, but I don't think it is making enough to recoup. But the score works for Bronx tale and I'll see it on tour. I never want to see spongebob again. And I throughly enjoyed Aladdin tour stop a few months ago. Although I doubt I'd sit through frozen again--I was disappointed in the production.

what will develop an audience. While I can see the reasons why, my heart is still surprised that Bronx Tale and School of Rock are still on Broadway, but Something Rotten! closed and super stunned that Bandstand is gone. That show was terrific. Add so it goes.

So no surprise to me that bronx tale survived and both are probably around the same running cost. Something rotten was 3 seasons ago (fun home win and nothing is still opened now) and school of Rock two seasons ago (with waitress and Hamilton still open).

Something Rotten would have been better off waiting a year and coming in when a more appropriate theater was available. The St. James has become a white elephant, although maybe Frozen will change its luck. I liked it a little more than you did.
