| They have not had a seven performance week this year. The next two weeks are 8. So how are they allowed to schedule 9? I thought it had to have a less than 8 week. | |

| I don't know, but Lion King and Aladdin both do 9-show holiday weeks (Presidents Day, Easter, etc.) without a "make up" 7-show counterpart. Maybe the Disney contract allows for that, and/or they feel it's worth whatever penalties they have to pay to do it. | |

| Can I assume part of that penalty is giving the union workers | |

| Two eighths. (Also known as one quarter.) When a 9-show week is paired with a 7-show week, they don't have to pay extra for the 9-show week as long as they're (a) off on 12/24 or 12/25 or (b) off one whole day between the two weeks. (This is from a Disney rulebook that's a couple versions old, so it could have changed.) |

| more onerous is the stagehands' extra pay, but it's worth it for the additional $350k or so revenue | |

| I think they can also pay a penalty for doing a 9-show week. Perhaps the additional box office receipts make the penalty worth it from time to time. | |
