| Agreed, but his recent production of PLENTY at The Public was very ambitious in terms of stage design and movement. It just didn't work both dramatically and technically but that might have been for a number of reasons. Any show that has a complex production design is a risk. Leveaux really pulled it off beautifully with this production of JCS. Not just technically but the way the material was engaged with seemed to have a depth of understanding of how powerful a Passion Play can be. Bravo, Mr. Leveaux. |
