Because that is what happens here and elsewhere lately. 'We" also gave scum ball Bill O'Reilly more PR than would have otherwise occurred. Hilton is doing what he has always done....allow his mouth to drop open without the brain being in the loop,....or the brain being very much in the loop just to assist the "brand" to rise above the clutter. Same with O'Reilly. Can't blame them. We seem to fall for it time after time.

And why did Wayman feel the need to post it not only here but also on the other board? (nmi)

That's nothing unusual. I primarily post here, but I've posted on both boards many times

Perez Hilton is one of the most famous (or infamous) celebrity bloggers; he's got 6.5 million Twitter followers alone.

So what he has to say can be newsworthy and/or controversial. In this case, he mentioned something Broadway-related ...

Perez Hilton is one of the most famous (or infamous) celebrity bloggers

To paraphrase M*A*S*H, isn't that is roughly the equivalent of being the finest hockey player in all of Ecuador?

"Perez Hilton is one of the most famous (or infamous) celebrity bloggers; he's got 6.5 million Twitter followers alone. "
Which represents about 2% of the total U.S. population. I, for one, am neither interested in assisting him in increasing those "followers" nor using him to increase mine.

That's a pretty disingenuous response. (If our places were reversed, I suppose you would have entitled this reply "Two Wongs Don't Make a Right.")

A great many things out there are Broadway-related, but you chose to share this one -- in two places, no less -- which suggests you thought this nonsense *in particular* deserved even wider circulation. Why?

This says more about Perez' being uncomfortable with himself

From the mouth of the "outer-in-chief" this says more about his own issues with self respect and adjustment to being gay. Hes also giving in to the nurture vs nature argument. Go ahead keep your son away from dance class if that's what draws him. Let him become another closet case so you can out him for more publicity. Or he may be straight as nature intends him to be who loves dance. Why am I even wasting my typing on this?
