| You know how Hollywood works -- they probably considered Day too much of a lightweight in '55 despite her stunning performance. They made it up to her in '59 by nominating her for Pillow Talk. They did same thing for Bette Davis -- overlooking her in '34 for Of Human Bondage but then nominating and awarding her the Oscar in '35 for the much weaker Dangerous. There are countless examples of this happening over the years. |
