| Well, if you go just off the Tony performances that year, Pinkins did win! Not only is "Lot's Wife" far more impressive as a bid for a Best Actress Tony than "Defying Gravity", but Idina... dare I say... cracked a bit in her big money moment (which, as far as money moments in songwriting, throwing an "ahhHHHahHHHH" at the end is pretty lazy and unimpressive if you ask me), which I think was more notable than the audible wear and tear on Tonya's voice that night. |
