| And yet my understanding is (I havent seen the show as yet) that they don't really worry too much about the accents. Priorities? I thought the accents were fine. You can have an exacting focus on accents in a production of MFL and completely fail at bringing out the many other layers of class, feminism, sentiment, musical comedy entertainment, spectacle. This production does a very good job at satisfying all those layers without, in my opinion, being completely cohesive. But I saw it early in the run. |
